About
The Hainanese Association of Western Australia is a vibrant Perth-based community organisation dedicated to connecting people of Hainanese heritage, celebrating culture, and fostering a sense of belonging.
Our journey began with a kickoff meeting of 25 Hainanese community members at the Cambridge Food Forum in Wembley on 9 April 2016.
A volunteer pro tem committee of 10 members was formed to draft a constitution tailored to our community’s needs, ensuring compliance with the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 of Western Australia.
We became officially incorporated on 6 September 2016 under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 of Western Australia.
